Victory Group acquires Craig & Derricott, a UK based manufacturer of low voltage switchgear products for safety & control applications. Craig & Derricott is a recognized leader in low voltage switchgears and its products are widely deployed in UK and EU countries.

Victory Group acquires a large manufacturer of Power Transformers based out of Chennai. The company was formerly known as Hackbridge, Hewittic & Easun (HHE). It has a supply record dating to 1950's. Its products are deployed throughout the world and are known for their stellar quality.

Reliance Capital, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company, invests in Victory Group in August 2007.

A state of the art 60000 Sq Ft Power Transformer manufacturing unit in Medchal, Hyderabad is commissioned in Aug 2007

Starting first quarter 2006, Victory entered the export market with substantial export orders from East Africa and Gulf states.

First quarter 2006 - VTSL develops prototypes of 36kV outdoor and 12kV indoor and kiosk type Vacuum Circuit Breakers, Ring Main Unit and Load Break Switch. These new products are slated for production in second quarter 2006. All the prototypes successfully complete type tests.

Major capacity expanison underway at Phoenix Power Products at the Gummadidala, Hyderabad facility. The six fold expansion will allow Phoenix to produce various Electro-Porcelain products with an installed capacity of 18 tonnes per day.

January 2006 - VTSL achieves ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems certification through TUV South Asia, a subsidiary of the TUV SUD group, Germany.

January 2006 - VEL expands capacity to manufacture MOV disks three fold to meet export demand for Surge Arresters.

2005 - VTSL acquires new facilities with a land area of 75000 Sq Ft in Jeedimetla. The new facility is being upgraded to manufacture corrugated tanks and Dry Type Transfomers.

2005 - VEL begins construction of a Transfomer oil plant in Medchal, Hyderabad with an installed capacity of 10KL/hour. The new product is expected to be launched in second quarter 2006.

2004 - VEL launches production of MOV disks and surge arresters.

2004 - Phoenix Power Products is launched with the acquisition of an existing Electro-Porcelain company in Gummadidala, Hyderbad. The unit manufactures various ceramic products for the electrical industry like Transformer bushings, Hollow & Solid core insulators.

2003 - VTSL and VEL acquire new manufacturing facilities to increase capacity.

2001 - VTSL develops 12 kV outdoor Vacuum Circuit Breakers.

2001 - VEL acquires 3,64,000 Sq Ft facility in Medchal, Hyderabad for the purpose of distribution Transfomer manufacturing and expansion into new products in future.

2000 - VEL is formed.

1998 - VTSL starts manufacturing of Current and Voltage Transfomers.

1997 - VTSL starts manufacturing distribution Transformers.
